Cast.
Actress: Katelyn Clark
Character: Bonsai
Katelyn Clark, born and raised in Riverlea Johannesburg. She is a 3rd year AFDA student currently majoring in Live performance. She always wanted to become an actress because being an actress is a form of art that broadens the mind. She love being an actress because it allows me to engulf myself into completely different characters, different thoughts, ideas and opinions. Her plans for her future is to hopefully get the bursary for the Netflix internship with the hopes of also being able to go overseas and showcase her talent there as well as to learn more about acting and the industry.
Motto: "Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playin the game."
Actress: Modipadi Mokgohloa
Character: Olive
Modipadi Mamokiritle Mokgohloa is 21-year-old black female that was born and raised in Limpopo (Polokwane). Her arrival at Curro Heuwelkruin sparked her love for performance which later led her to the multimedia institution, AFDA. To date, Modipadi, has been a Dramatic Arts student for eight years and is upon completion of her BA in Live Performance at the end of 2021. She also recently graduated from a one-year Film and Television internship with Yes4Youth and HCLS associated with MULTICHOICE (PTY)LTD. In 2017 Modipadi participated in The International ARTS Talent Showcase where she received a call back for her dramatic and comedic monologue as well as her improvisation. Within the same showcase she later went on to win a trophy for best improvisation in Orlando, Florida, USA. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, drawing, and sculpting. Besides working towards featuring in international films, Modipadi, hopes to venture into the fields of film and stage directing.

Actor: Vitus Dunu V
Character: Lieutenant
Vitus Dunu is an young actor and voiceover artist, a degree holder of a BA in live performance. He has been involved in over 35 productions in his career including working with the likes of Siya Raymond and Thembinksoi in film ‘Conviction’ and telenovela Pilot ‘King of Hearts’ respectively. He is of Nigerian and Swati Descent.

Crew.
Writer & Director: Bahumi Madisakwane
Bahumi Madisakwane is a final year student of the motion picture medium, majoring in film directing and writing. She has set in motion a career in acting and social media marketing, and is excited to finally establish her longtime goal of filmmaking behind the scenes. Her future is looking very centered around the streaming and cinema scope, with the inclusion of podcasts and television shows that inspire and entertain.

Producer: Anké Hurn
Anké Hurn is a final year student, majoring in Producing, and she is also auditing Production design classes. She is a you passionate filmmaker who enjoys telling stories and inspiring other people. She enjoys being part of peoples' growth and hope to one day share her knowledge with future filmmakers. She says that she enjoys the adrenaline rush from being on set and the satisfaction of seeing the final product. Filmmaking is a big part of who she is today. She can't wait to tell real authentic South African stories, as she believes that stories can bring a nation together.

Director of Photography: Cameron Baatjies
Cameron Baatjies, a third year AFDA student who is currently double majoring in Cinematography and Data Grading. For Hue Film Productions Cameron has taken the role of Co Director of Photography (DOP). The DOP oversees the visual aspects of the film. They make up the shot list and decide how the film will be portrayed to the audience with that specific shot selection. Cameron tried studying accounting at the university of Pretoria but later decided that the film industry is where his talents would be put to better use. He decided that coming to AFDA is the best choice for him. He is interested in making a good name for himself in the South African industry, with the end goal being to make a name for himself internationally. With his goal being to be South Africa's best DIT in 3 years and then to be a part of the South African Cinematographers Association 4 years after that. His favourite film is Tenet and right now is very interested in the TV series Brooklyn 99.

Director of Photography: Josh Francis
Josh Francis is a cinematographer whose focusing mainly on camera operating. He is planning on becoming a Steadicam operator as well as running a production company.
Motto: "The strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack."
Colour Grader & DIT: Jamie Pascoe
Jamie Pascoe is the colourist and data manager for Conviction. He is a third year at AFDA Johannesburg. He enjoys working together to create stories and interesting visuals. I hopes to continue to create cinematic stories throughout the future of my career.

Editor: Nina Gillingham
Nina Gillingham is a third and final year student, studying film editing for her undergraduate degree. Next year she is planning on pursuing her honors degree and once she is done, she will go out into the industry and hopefully be able to create content and films that inspire others to do what they love.
Motto: "In the end we are all going to die, so just do what makes you happy."
VFX Artist: Thabang Mashalane
I'm a visual effects generalists and compositor. I'm currently working under the name P Productions. I'm also a sound designer. I'm passionate about what I do and the fact that I can create anything from a concept and making it look good and realistic. My goal in this journey is to one day almost destroy and save the world in my home country South Africa. My favourite film is King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword and series is Mind Hunter, Seinfeld and The Office.
Sound Designer: Alexio de Waal
Alex de Waal is 3rd year Sound Design Student at AFDA and the Sound designer for Hue Film Productions. He always try to make an entertaining experience and says that not a lot of people understand how much a good sound mix can elevate your narrative.

Music composer: Divan Auret
Divan Auret is a sound designer and a part time composer. He composed the soundtrack for Conviction. His plans is to further learn more about the art of mixing in order to one day get a job at the Sound Post Studio Bespoke Post.

Production Designer: Brinsley Maina
I am a production designer and an art director by profession. My love for production design stems from the experience I have had through interior design and my love for fashion. Growing up I was always the kid that would break something into small little pieces and rebuild it to a beautiful piece created by a 10-year-old. I am a lover of art. When I'm not building you will occasionally find me in the garden or at the golf course. I enjoy watching documentaries, cooking and blasting music in my studio. Working on this production was a great learning experience. I worked with amazing people and every member of the crew become my family.
