Synopsis: 

Bonsai, the only female guerilla soldier in the Ko-Yan army, is tasked to interrogate and then to kill a captive. While interrogating the captive she realises that there is something familiar about the captive.

Will Bonsai follow her Generals orders, or will she help the captive?

Director's statement: 

Conviction uses the action genre to highlight how our inner beliefs are tested when in direct conflict with our external worlds. In an environment where war is the main focus and killing is the norm, can we turn from the status quo when intuition prompts us to? Ultimately, Conviction is test of will power. “There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.” - Martin Luther King.
